JCI Dutch Caribbean (JCI) proudly announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the youth council of Fekoskan – the Credit Union Youth Council (CUYC) on May 16, 2025. This agreement marks an important step in their joint mission to promote youth development in Curaçao and the wider Caribbean region.

Driven by shared values and a strong belief in youth as key agents of change, JCI and CUYC are joining forces to support young people in their professional, financial, and cooperative development. The MoU represents the beginning of a structured collaboration focused on leadership development, financial education, and the promotion of cooperative values.

Through joint initiatives, projects, and educational opportunities, both organizations aim to inspire youth to take on leadership roles, strengthen their financial literacy, and become actively involved in their communities.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with JCI’s mission to empower young people to create positive change,” said the National President of JCI Dutch Caribbean Richards Martina. “Working with CUYC allows us to expand our impact and support youth in becoming both professionals and responsible citizens.”

JCI Dutch Caribbean and CUYC will soon present their first joint project, laying the foundation for a future where young people are more empowered, aware, and engaged in building a better society.
